3 Things Weak People Do (That Strong People Don’t)

There are weak people and there are strong people, and the difference often comes down to a few habits. Here are three things weak people do that you’ll rarely see a strong person doing.

1. They feed themselves lies

Everyone wins sometimes and loses sometimes. A weak person never accepts the loss. Despite every fact saying otherwise, they twist the story until it looks like they won, because that feels better.

A strong person accepts it. Not as something shameful, but as guidance: this is how not to do it; this is what needs to improve to win next time. Most successful people got where they are by being real with themselves. “I just lost the money. Now what am I going to do about it?” Only once you admit the loss can you ask the useful questions: what did I do wrong, and what can I do better?

2. They postpone important obligations

Time is limited. Deadlines are real, and some opportunities never come back once you miss them. Weak people keep putting off the thing they know they need to do, and usually the reason is just another lie they’re telling themselves.

Strong people don’t take time off while there’s unfinished business. Some of the strongest people in the world have countless victories behind them and are still running the marathon.

And here’s what you don’t see until you do it: you can’t know your next step until you’ve done the current one. Finish what you’ve been postponing, and the next level of things opens up. Whatever it is you’re avoiding because it’s hard or boring: just go and do it.

3. They don’t have a mind of their own

A song hypes them up, the next one makes them sad. Someone tells them a story about a person, and they start treating that person badly, without ever checking whether it’s true.
