Does Money Really Matter? What’s More Important Than Money
Money matters. It can bring happiness, experiences, tools, freedom. But it’s far from the most important thing in life, because without a few other things, money is basically worthless to you.
Some people are so poor that all they have is money.
1. The mindset to multiply it
Hand someone a fortune who doesn’t know how to manage it, and a year later they can’t afford gas for the new car they bought with it. Clothes, cars, holidays, shiny things, gone.
The question that matters is: how can I use what I have to make more? If you don’t have that mindset, no amount will keep you from being broke.
2. A brave heart
If you can’t defend what’s yours, someone braver or more powerful will take it, and there’s nothing you can do about it.
Past a certain level of wealth, most people end up working to leave something for their children. But what good is that inheritance if you never taught them to defend it? Bravery is one of the most important things you can build in yourself, and pass on.
3. Integrity
We all serve someone. I’m serving you right now with this information. But if you’ll do anything for money, then whoever pays you owns you, and the requests only get more ridiculous. I won’t take money for something that goes against my core values. A strong moral compass keeps you free.
4. Mental clarity
Money doesn’t equal power. Money amplifies power. Knowledge, experience and clarity are where real power comes from. If there’s no power there to begin with, there’s nothing for money to amplify.
In the video I go deeper into how mental clarity frees you from the programming that makes other people money off your back, and why the real question about your money is: what ripple did you leave with it?
