It’s Time to Make a Choice: What Side Are You On? (a Message to Creators)

Creators are leaders. Music, movies and books shape how people think, and the people who understand that power know creators can steer their followers in any direction.

The deal

Some creators are willing to sell their soul for the right amount of money: to make work that dumbs people down and misleads them, without caring how their audience is affected, as long as their pockets are full. It’s not a paper contract. It’s a soul contract, and once you’ve taken it, there’s no going back.

Every choice has consequences

I’m a creator too, so this message is for all of us. Accept the deal and you’ll live with the consequences of what your work did to the people who trusted you. Refuse it, and you’ll live with those consequences too. The difference is that one leads to positive consequences and the other to negative ones.

Which side?

Will you work for the people who have led humanity into a dead end and treated people like sheep, or help humanity stand on its feet and reclaim its power? Together we can create whatever circumstances we choose. The more creators who choose right, the better it turns out for all of us. If the universe calls, pick up, and make the right choice.
