How to Make the World a Better Place: Start Within

Let’s make this world a better place to live. Are you with me? It starts with something less glamorous than changing the world: changing yourself.

Peace is contagious

Energy spreads. When you’re calm inside, everyone around you feels it. When you’re disturbed inside, you radiate that too. If each of us committed to our own growth and our own inner peace, the world would become a beautiful place, one person at a time.

You can’t force anyone to change. But you can ask yourself, every time a harmful thought comes: what do I gain from this, and what do I lose? Letting go of the urges that come from the hurt child inside you is how you clean your intentions and your energy.

Build the new world while fighting the old one

For a long time, people have fought the system, and that fight got us where we are. Now we can also build. Not everyone came here to do the same thing: some are warriors, some are healers, some spread love, some do several. Find your role. How will you add to the world you want to live in?

Trust can be earned again

So many people have been betrayed so often that they’ve lost faith in humanity. Trust doesn’t come back overnight. It grows when I watch your back and you watch mine, with actions, not just words. And with someone behind you, you’re braver in every fight.
